Breakfast, lunch, dinner & guilty pleasures: Of a fitness model

Do you follow a specific diet (i.e. Keto, fasting, Atkins etc.)?

I try to stick to a 80/20 rule when it comes to my diet. I eat healthy low carb most of the time ( I’ve found low carb is what works best for me) and 20 % of the time I indulge in things like tacos or chocolate and of course wine 🍷

What does breakfast look like to you?

I have oatmeal with almond milk and blueberries or egg whites for breakfast . If I’m going to a morning fitness class I’ll usually eat a KIND bar they are my favorite with a cup of coffee. I really like the brand EBOOST they have the best pre- workout drink as to fuel my morning workouts!

What is your go to lunch?

I’ll always have a protein and a vegetables. my go to is chicken and broccoli or a salad. When I want to include rice or pasta, I’ll have a portion controlled amount with lunch.

P.s. I’ve found it crucial  to sneak in Snacks! Always snacking on almonds, apples, boiled eggs, a kind bar or carrot sticks all of which is easy to take on the go!

What are your Post Workout eats?

After my workout I will have a protein shake usually plant based protein or PRIME powder from Eboost.

What do you eat for Dinner?

I will usually have vegan pasta ( made from plants ) with grilled chicken and veggies, or I’ll create a stir fry recipe or something high in protein and have a sweet potato as the side. I love to cook so I always switch it up and create new healthy meals!

For desert I always have dark chocolate and a glass of wine guilty pleasures and they help keep my diet on track! It’s important to live a little and feel happy while training or dieting make it a lifestyle rather than something you dread.
