Yoga (Flexibility)

Athletic Yoga – Emphasis is on linking breath with movement strength & form

IYOGA ™ – An intuitive flow series of yoga postures (Earth is grounding, Fire is strong & vigorous and liquid is gentle & fluid).

Vinyasa Yoga/Vinyasa Flow/Alignment Flow – Emphasis is on linking breath w/movement, strength & form.

Yin Flow – A Vinyasa flow with dynamic postures for strength and balance, combined with yin, passive long-held postures for flexibility and calm.

Restorative Yoga – Yoga postures to warm the body for relaxation & deep restoration.

UpRIGHT Yoga- A NYHRC exclusive A beautiful standing and seated 30 or 45-minute practice designed for yogis on the run.
UpRight Yoga will also benefit those taking a dog break as well (easy on the wrists & shoulders)

Urban Meditation A class that promotes harmony through guided imagery and breath.

Pumped Up Yoga –  A NYHRC exclusive designed around the core principles of Vinyasa yoga but with a specific focus on toning. (Uses lightweights)


Pilates Mat –A workout that restores muscular balance, strengthens & stretches the body. Pilates Barre incorporates ballet-based exercises

POP Pilates® – A Total Body, equipment free workout that sculpts a rock-solid core and a lean dancer’s body like nothing else can!

BARRE (A blend of Pilates and yoga)

Barre Blaster/Barre 30/Barre- A ballet-inspired barre workout that will chisel & tone.

STRETCH  (Flexibility)

STRETCH/Stretch & Abs. –  Focus on flexibility, range of motion, posture & alignment

Athletic Stretch – A Stretch Class designed for Athletes & Post Workouts

FUSION  (Strength & Flexibility FUSION)

PiYo® Workout – A full body workout from BeachBody® that combines the muscle sculpting core firming benefits of Pilates with the strength & flexibility advantages of yoga.

Cardio Core – A fusion of Cardio Intervals and Core Training

AQUA  (Water based classes involving strength and cardio)

AquaFIT/Aqua Boot Camp –  A cross training workout featuring non-impact aerobics & strength training exercises in the pool.


Cycling – An indoor cycling workout that targets and strengthens the glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves.

Cycle FORCE – A NYHRC exclusive goal based, distance based indoor cycling ride using cycle monitors to achieve your distance goals.


BollyX®- A Bollywood inspired dance workout with upbeat music from around the world. Interval training & dance sequences come together in the effective interval workout that burns between 500-800 calories.

Zumba® – A dynamic fitness program–including Caribbean & Latin rhythms.

HIIT   (STRENGTH Meets Cardio for High-Intensity Interval Training)

Tabata Bootcamp®/Tabata Sculpt/Tabata 30 – Tabatas are short bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by short rests. Excellent for fat burning and ton

The Pyramid (High-Intensity Interval Training)

An NYHRC exclusive HIIT program based on Pyramid intervals and reps.

The format has a gradual build-up of intensity in the first half of class,

then a build down to the end of the class.

Cardio HIIT- A high-Intensity format with emphasis on Cardio Athletic Training.


Athletic Abs- Focuses on abs, obliques & lower back.

Hard Core/Cardio Core– A workout that targets the mid parts of the body & concentrates on legs, glutes, abdominals, back, and stabilization.

Boot Camp- An intense strength training workout that combines strength intervals with cardio segments.

Total Sculpt – A full body workout designed to strengthen and tone the upper and lower body.

Arms/Abs/Assets – A NYHRC exclusive targets arms, abs, and glutes for a total body workout.

BareFIT-  A NYHRC exclusive total body workout using a 6ft. Body Band for Strength. Length & Balance.

Interval Sculpt/Boot Camp Sculpt/Strength Training/Cardio Sculpt – An intense strength training workout that combines strength intervals.
