NYHRC Charity Racquetball Tournament
On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and NYHRC is launching a charity Racquetball Tournament to raise funds, spread awareness, and help put an end to Domestic Violence.
Registration is $40, which can be paid at the front desk of any NYHRC location. All proceeds will benefit Gibney’s Community Action initiative, a groundbreaking program that uses dance to empower survivors of intimate partner violence.
Dates: October 25th, 26th, and 27th
