Who is this yoga retreat for (beginners, advanced, anyone?)
This yoga retreat is for all levels as there will be modifications that honor both the beginner and the novice yoga practitioner. You will be supported and encouraged to explore the practice of vinyasa and meditation while still honoring the uniqueness of your mind and body. Regardless of your body type, age or capabilities, this retreat is for you!
Do you have any suggestions for someone who’s never been to a yoga retreat?
My only suggestions is to thank yourself for saying yes to a weekend of self care! Each day will provide an opportunity for both rest and movement. There will be an opportunity to connect with your fellow retreat goers on a deeper level with permission to also enjoy solitude if that is needed. You will nourish your body with amazing food, strengthen your body with thoughtful vinyasa yoga classes, immerse yourself in nature to rebalance your nervous system and learn how to quiet the mind to return to your natural state of peace. All that you have to do is show up just as you are, ready for a weekend of tending to yourself.
